With the Minister of "Imprese e del Made in Italy".

The magazine enters the Universities of Bologna at the Alma Mater and in Rome, at Luiss Guido Carli in the program of initiatives which, one a month, celebrate the 10 years of the magazine, the third appointment HTSI offers its readers, it’s time for the Masterclasses: a series of special videos dedicated to the creativity and craftsmanship of luxury. From fine jewelery to fine perfumery, from fashion to design, the masterclasses will be released throughout the year, ensuring a continuous flow of inspiration. After the research project presented in January, after the anniversary party in February, the Masterclasses are a curious and engaging learning experience. An opportunity to go behind the scenes of creativity and of excellence. The format is an itinerary in ten stages to learn, step by step, the craftsmanship, the technical skills, the crucial steps in the manufacturing of a high quality product.

The project

The first release of the series, the inaugural video, exceptionally, is dedicated to HTSI himself: a tribute to the anniversary that allows readers to enter the typography, the editorial office and the sets of fashion services to follow step by step the birth of a HTSI number. In April HTSI becomes a case history in universities. Starting from April 9th at the Alma Mater University of Rimini, Nicoletta Polla Mattiot, director of HTSI, will hold a special lesson to present the uniqueness of the Sole 24 Ore magazine, entitled: The strength of Made in Italy in fashion journalism . Ten years of HTSI. An event entitled: Ten years of HTSI follows the next day, 10 April in Rome, at the Luiss Guido Carli University. A journey into the excellence of Made in Italy, with the participation of the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.

Behind the scenes

So what do we discover behind the scenes of HTSI? The first discovery is that the real luxury is time. The second discovery is that paper is the new gold. The third is an ancient teaching and is the Greek kalos kai agathòs, the beautiful it is also good, beauty is good, beauty calls beauty. In complex times, choosing beauty is a commitment and a gesture of care. The fourth word is selection. A concept that has to do with sustainability. The fifth step is action. The psychoanalyst Paolo Aite claims that you can dream with your hands. This is the strength of the how to do, beauty as a driver of transformation.

The sixth point is made in Italy. The expression of Italian creativity and way of life, those identity traits that make our country unique and attractive in the world. The seventh discovery is the world. there are no limits to the desire to travel, to experiment, to discover. The eighth muse is the hunger for something new, the search for what is not yet there. It is what Made in Italy experts call: the authentically experimental thinking of Italians, the result of incremental pragmatism, or that ability to combine “doing and trying” with “planning”. The ninth point is people. True luxury comes from comparison, it is a choral and personal contribution, it is an orchestra of voices and instruments. The tenth point of view is the future.
