How To Spend It – A Passion for fashion

After the fashion shows in Milan and Paris, A PASSION FOR FASHION arrives on newsstands for HOW TO SPEND IT, with Il Sole 24 Ore on Friday 7 October.

A special issue that intercepts the new course of fashion, takes stock of the trends of the season, gives a voice to three women who are, in a different way, marking a new way of understanding femininity in fashion and creativity in general: Devyn Garcia, Jezabelle Cormio, Zoë Buckman. The cover fashion shoot is a tribute to James Bond.

It was October 5, 1962 when the first chapter of the series dedicated to 007: ‘License to Kill’ was released in the United Kingdom. The photo shoot is set in an airfield that is equipped for paratroopers with the Pilatus PC-6 – a 550 horsepower “monster” of technology and performance capable of taking off and landing in a few meters and which belonged to the most famous secret agent in the service of Her Majesty, James Bond (it is the plane that appears in a scene from Golden Eye).

Last September 9 marked the end of the era of her Majesty Queen Elisabeth II and the installation of the King Charles III of England; on this occasion Federico Marchetti writes exclusively for How To Spend It the story of his friendship with Charles of England: an intimate and very personal page.
