The new digital era of the Sole 24ORE is starting: the new site inaugurates an innovative multimedia platform from which the future digital development of the group starts.

Speed ​​and depth of information, authoritative and reliable, alongside visual content, maps, infographics, videos, data, podcasts.

In addition, the “Mercati +” subscription service starts with real-time financial news and securities.

The new website of Il Sole 24 Ore has been online since June 24th, totally renewed in terms of innovation in technology and content. A technology that allows you to browse a site that is faster, clearer and updated, more flexible, deep and intuitive. Thus a new digital platform was born based on the logic of mobile first and full responsive, with premium content and innovative formats.

The new “” is not a point of arrival, but the starting point of the future evolution of the 24 ORE Group. The new digital platform will allow the development of a new series of innovative publishing products and services, also for a fee, for individual reader / user clusters from next autumn.

Alongside the possibility of reading information in perfect mobility and adapted to every form of digital support (PC, tablet, smartphone) to respond to increasingly cross-screen use, the site offers an evolution of the contents of the Sole 24 Ore, designed for both the business community, both for a wider public that in recent years has come closer to our information and asks for more and more “visual” services, of an educational and strong data base.

Sole 24 Ore’s online information will be characterized by speed and depth: the ability to go even deeper into the news and the speed at which they are always accompanied by the authoritativeness that is the key to identifying how the Group is doing information 24 HOURS and is also internationally recognized, as certified by the Digital News Report of Reuters Institute which for the second consecutive year places Il Sole 24 Ore as the first Italian newspaper for trust in the brand.


Three central elements that characterize the new site:

– user experience, with user navigation made clearer and more legible in the nature of the content, cleaner and more intuitive in the layout and faster in the loading of articles and sections. The organization of the contents changes from vertical to horizontal, mostly used in the Anglo-Saxon world. These are innovative formats created by the Lab 24 structure, composed of journalists, graphic designers and graphic designers, who help to understand what is happening through more immersive, interactive and numerical based content.

– the enhancement of the Markets area: totally reorganized into a new digital environment (a Pwa, Progressive Web App) developed with Google’s technical support, the Markets area is the innovative service dedicated to stock markets that becomes the subject of a first offer of a “only web” subscription called M + where readers will find the list service, dynamic charts that combine data and stock market news, the customized stock portfolio, real-time quotes, alerts and technical analysis of the securities. A real section of data market with new areas, new content by the editorial staff Finance, Savings and the Radiocor news agency and greater functionality of the charts starting from the intersection of data and news.

In particular, with the subscription to Markets + it will be possible to receive personalized notifications on the price fluctuations of the securities that you decide to follow. Notifications can be set on smartphone, desktop or via email. Moreover M + gives the possibility to browse it even in offline mode and to download the application to access the service immediately with a simple click on the icon.

With the new website Il Sole 24 Ore also debuts on the Podcast production front, with a dedicated page offering three podcasts created by journalists of the newspaper with the technical support and expertise of Radio 24.
