The Museum of Cultures

Mudec – the Museum of Cultures of the Municipality of Milan, opened in 2015 and designed by the architect David Chipperfield, is now considered a symbol of the international and multi-ethnic side of the capital of Lombardy. With a permanent collection of over eight thousand highly interesting ethnographic works of art from five continents, Mudec is a unique case in Italy and a success story for collaboration between the public and private sectors. 

Management of the museum is entrusted to 24 ORE Cultura which, in partnership with the most important international museums, designs and produces temporary exhibitions; it handles the educational side for schools, families and groups of adults; it manages commercial activities and spaces (the ticket office, the design store, exhibition bookshops and the car park); and it organises and runs events for B2B and B2C companies.
